This was an amazing adventure!!
We had to be in Solvang for an event at 6:30 so we hit the buffet at 4:30.
This was really well timed because when we arrived at 4:30, we walked right in, but when we left about 6:30, there was a huge line!!
And this was on a Wednesday.
Right away we were seated by our hostess who took our drink order unlimited non-alcoholic beverages are included with the buffet!
Then we immediately made a bee line for the seafood.
Amazing Poké and crab legs!
Round two I tried some Asian fare and a slice of pizza.
Round three I went for the prime rib with mashed potatoes and gravy.
Others at the table went for the brisket.
We decided the brisket was the winner.
Round 4 was dessert!!
We did a pineapple bob shot together which we did NOT enjoy, but the lemon bar and molten cookie made up for it.
I was not too sold on the bread pudding.
I'd skip that next time.
We used our Axxess card for BOGO buffets.
I have to give this a solid three because about half of what I had I thought was meh and the other half I thought was amazing.
I ok very small bites of things and of course did not try everything.
I found the veggie options were the best things out of everything I tried.
All of these were amazing in my opinion and even if you've never tried any of these things, take a bites worth.
You have nothing to lose.
Nothing wrong with it but I didn't want more - Mac and cheese.
I'm also a weakling when it comes to spice.
So take that into consideration - Mongolian beef.
Overcooked and fast food style.
Not restaurant quality - carrot cake The bad: - potato croquette.
No flavor and tasted like old frying oil - watermelon wasn't sweet and refreshing - pineapple was sour - cream puff - fruit tart - cheesecake I didn't find things to be overly salty like one review states but I didn't go for too many things that traditionally have high salt content like soups and sauces.
But since not everything is amazing I have to rate the average and I would check this out overall it's a 3 star spot.
Let's start with the price, overprice.
Service from the attendants are super.
Other dish such as seafood are good.
The asian dishes are blah.
Mexican dishes are almost blah but alright.
I wish they have birria.
Pizza and fried chicken are blah.
The place is clean.
They refill the drinks fast.
I don't mind coming back here for the meats.
Otherwise, deal with the smoke on your way to the buffet.

Been here before, but about 2 years ago - not as impressed this time.
The buffet has always been a draw for us when visiting Solvang, as we don't gamble but enjoyed it after we decided years ago to give it a try.
The place was busy about 8:30pm on a Wednesday, but not packed and the entrance line moved right along.
The wait help promptly greeted me and brought the drinks pre-ordered when paying.
The food stations were pretty much the same for example, Asian, meats, Latino, salad, soups, fish and such, and of course dessert!
At 8:30, with 90 minutes still to go, many stations had empty trays or trays with a few remnants.
The cook staff were trying to keep up but never really got on top of it until after 9 when the place started to empty out with full bellies heading home!
The offerings among the stations were standard, and not as varied as before - in terms of offering a couple of new or exotic dishes in each main thematic station.
The many items they offered were good, as other times, but I had looked forward to different flavors - like the jalapeño grits.
But these varieties were far and few; took away some of the fun.
For the dessert station they had more fancy desserts than last time, many of them colorful and flavorful - and the ever popular gelato!
Overall, the buffet is still a strong choice for a good, filling and economically sound change of pace from the Solvang restaurants.
The place is kept very clean, all the station helpers are friendly and hard working, and the wait staff especially excel at keeping tables cleared of dishes and your beverages filled.
Dela was a particular jewel that evening - thanks!!
I enjoyed my visit, was able to roll myself to the car and already am planning my return trip!
Until then I can only dream.
The Buffet at the Chumash Casino.
They are located on the third floor in the back of the casino.
They were a little busy when we arrived for Easter dinner.
We had to wait in line for chumash casino best slots 45 minutes.
They offered bottled water to those in line waiting.

The Buffet had everything here I like.
I started off at the seafood station and took a plateful of shrimp and snow crab.
Then proceeded to their carving station for their rib roast and lamb.
The rib roast was cooked perfectly rare.
The comfort food station had some tasty fried chicken and candied yams.
Because it was a holiday, they even had Passover food like brisket and haroset.
Everything I tried was fresh and good.
The dessert station had some delicious gelato.
The boba shooters weren't good though.
Their boba had a consistency of this web page salmon egg that you use as bait.
The food is good.
You can't go wrong.
I'll be back if in the area.
I think on Wednesday and Thursday they have all you can eat lobster, pieces, and claws.
On top of the lobster, there is the usual including clams, crab legs, prime rib and much more.
They open at 4pm.
I went at 3pm and was 150th in line.
Around 330 they start selling the ticket to pay for the meal, the.
A second line is started, monitored by employees, for those who have paid.
No, one of you can't buy for six, while another goes in the paid line.
Oh, and you all have to be there when purchasing your buffet.
Ok, so getting past that confusion, the lines go pretty quickly and your in.
In to get into one of three lines inside.
All hungry people looking for lobster.
These lines actually move faster than you think, and by the time you're ready to get more, the lines are pretty much gone.
I can't speak for the lobster, since we didn't have any, but the tails were remarkably good and plentiful.
There's pizza, Italian, Mexican, Chinese.
All the usual, but you're there for lobster right?
Overall pretty good if you like lobster.
Not sure if it's best to go early when they open or to let the opening crowd calm down and just wait and e tee as tables open up.
Open til 11pm so there is plenty of time.
I don't usually rave about buffets.
This buffet simply called by that same name is located inside the Chumash Casino in Santa Ynez.
Go up the escalator and it is right there.
Although, I love seafood I usually gauge a good buffet by the meat offered.
We had prime rib and it was the best I've had out of all the buffets I've tried everywhere.
The steak was tender and marbled.
I must've been given a good 16-oz and I almost finished it but I couldn't finish a small portion left.
I still had fried chicken on my plate, which was also juicy and delicious!
Hubby shelled some crab legs for me and dipped that in butter it was heavenly!
That's all I had.
I didn't bother with the rest of the other dishes except I had rice with my steak and chicken, of course.
The dining area is nice with soft lighting.
It's almost like a restaurant.
The crew from the cashier, to the meat carver, to our server.
For dessert, yes, I always have room for dessert no matter how much food I eat.
It was actually difficult to choose what dessert to get but the gelato was perfect!
Glad to make it here.
I must admit I was a little piggy that night.
Review 1005 The buffet inside Chumas casino.
As every Casino have their own buffets to brag about, this one should be tops in bragging.
Pretty surprising as far as quality of the food, the taste and the service was pretty good.
We didn't plan to eat here, we were at Santa Barbara earlier that afternoon and visited some of the historical sights in that area.
We were going to have dinner there but it was still early and by the looks of it the prices of some of the local restaurants are pretty pricey.
To me I expected the wizard in slot bdo MSG tasting prime ribs and Asian cuisine and feeling bloated after.
I expected routine lousy service for some of my experiences here other other buffets.
Mind you this place is crowded and I can only guess that this is a popular place to go.
When we got here.
We were immediately taken care chumash casino best slots />Our rewards cards gave us some discounts and for the price, it was more than worth it.
I had a prime rib and ask for the whole slice 22 oz i thought it would be stringy and hard but it was soft and juicy.
I also had deep fried chicken.
My wife and mother in law had crab legs and they enjoyed it.
I had some too as well.
I gave this place a 5 star because of the quality of service and most of all the food that was served.
Dear Casino Restaurant GM, To make money on buffet, you don't need to over salt everything.
Charge more with higher quality food and they will still come.
Folks are check this out for all you can eat.
Prime rib - very hard to screw this up and yet you guy did 2.
Soups - All is the soup were so salty that I gave up after couple of sips.
Brisket - the "point" was so dried out one would automatically assume it was the flat that was over cooked 4.
Salad bar - I realize that high traffic will generally require higher maintenance, but the messy patrons created a very unappealing "look".
read article bar is suppose to have the look of "freshness".
Too many things to list.
As a patron, I want casinos to make money because we're here for the experience.
Anyone who comes to casinos to win money hasn't gambled enough lol.
That's why your food has to be good.
Chumash and all other casinos aren't built on winners.
So at least give us good eats while we feed your slots 20s, 50s and 100s your cafe is excellent.
I just reviewed it.
My riding buddy is moving to Colorado for his job, so as a last hurrah before he packed up his bike into the trailer, we decided to take a nice ride on the 154 and have dinner at The Buffet.
The ride out was stellar.
The food was a disappointment.
It was a surprising let-down to both of us because there have been so many positive reviews many of them recent!
I'll talk about the differences in their pictures and what I saw down below.
To start off, I have to mention the price.
For food, we ended up sticking to 3 things.
Brisket some areas were decent, other areas dryprime rib some areas a nice medium rare, other areas medium welland the fried chicken actually quite nice.
Obviously, we didn't go into this expecting a Vegas buffet, and if things ended here, it would have been fine, but it got pretty bad.
Sushi rice was dry and undercooked, the pasta was greasy, and the crab legs that we were looking forward to were of poor quality.
They had a strong odor, much stronger than what you'd normally suspect and were definitely sitting out for way too long.
Once you crack the shell, you should be able to slowly pull the meat out, but the meat would stick to the shell and break away in tiny chunks.
In others' pictures here on Yelp, they're presented nicely, sitting on ice.
What we faced was a bunch of crab legs in a lukewarm pan.
Gave my buddy a half portion of 1 leg and his response was "I wish you hadn't given that to me.
There was so much liquid in the tiramisu that when you tilted it, the liquid poured out over the edge.
The boba shooters tasted straight up like canned fruit juice, and the ice cream flavors were wack.
Vanilla Bourbon with caramel apple had no bourbon taste to it.
The red ice cream tasted straight up like wine.
We didn't keep eating to even get our money's worth of food and couldn't wait to get out of there.
They have an Axxess deal for buy 1 get 1 free.
Thank goodness they have that Axxess deal because if I payed full price for that I would have left angry rather than just disappointed.
Food was not bad But so disappointed Receptionist was rude and acting like a racist My server has never cleaned table.
Great selection for the price.
Loved the salmon and chicken.
They have crab legs and great meat choices.
The buffet starts at 4pm and is only open at dinner.
They have a good variety.
I enjoyed sausagechicken cordon bluebrisketpokeshrimpcrab legssaladsChinese walnut shrimpguacamole, roasted vegetables and for desert - pistachio gelatolemon barscheesecakesjellofruit watermelon mousse and more.
The meats were either overcooked or partially raw.
Too bad my phone was out of battery or I could share some photos.
The other food was good, like pizza, glazed shrimp and chips.
I also called ahead for pricing.
After spending the day wine tasting, we decided a buffet was a must.
Free parking in the parking structure, take the elevator to the third floor, up a flight on an escalator and you will fine "The Buffet.
You pay and pick you drinks and then are shown just click for source your table.
The buffet itself was good.
But nothing over the top or really impressive.
The carving station had a few selection of meat to chose from, and then they have the basic filler stations.
Price and location plus good service, I would probably come back when visiting the area.
Absent are the foie gra, duck and Kobe beef but you can feast to your hearts content on snow crab legs, hearty clam chowder, paella, ceviche, cioppino, prime rib, oysters, peel 'n eat shrimp, walnut shrimp, sushi, lumpia, raviolis, manicotti, pizzas, fried chicken, brisket, enchiladas, gelato, handcrafted desserts, pastries and so much more.
At most buffets you get a spread of tepidly-flavored dishes but not at the Chumash Buffet.
At Chumash, you can savor the fresh international flavors prepared by experienced chefs.
The buffet is grouped by cuisine with a well-thought out menu.
Choose from seafood, Asian, Mexican, Italian, comfort food, a carving station, a salad bar and a gourmet dessert bar.
I really was impressed with the alfredo-tossed cheese raviolis.
They tasted like they came straight from a nice Italian restaurant.
The clam chowder rivals some of the clam chowders on the Monterey Bay Wharf.
The snow crabs were pretty small and kind of time consuming hunting for crab meat so I gave up on those after awhile and dove into some butternut squash, fresh fruit, a salad and some breaded mac 'n cheese all delicious.
The Oreo gelato was a nice treat especially paired with the warm bread pudding laced with caramel.
Channel your inner glutton and enjoy fresh tantalizing international flavors.
I'm already planning on coming back this summer to bank some more pool time with a pina colada and looking forward to hitting up the buffet.
It's a great space with seating probably for over 200 or so that has been renovated in the past year.
Big, well lit, clean, and a nice look.
It's mostly made up of tables but I believe there's some booths as well.
Simply wait in line, pay, state your choice of drink, get taken to your table and you can start while the beverage gets delivered.
If you have a gaming card, don't forget to use that for any comps or money taken off the bill.
There's a bunch of parking available at the casino parking lots.
You have a choice of an array of stations which include: Mexican station, salsa bar, comfort food station, carving station, seafood station, Italian station, Asian station, salad station, and dessert station.
Want to know what each has?
I have been to many buffets and even some so called amazing buffets in Vegas, and each time I have walked away disappointed.
However, maybe it was the cocktail I had earlier, maybe it was the fact that I had been on a diet for forever before coming here, honestly I don't know, but nor do I care, because I actually really liked this place.
I mean there were some hits and misses, but for the price?
I mean come on.
I'd come back for sure.
This buffet is fantastic!
My son has a dairy allergy and not only did they go above and beyond to accommodate him but the chef came out and took the time to point out what he could have and what he could not have.
Even items he wasn't able to have were prepared especially for him without the dairy.
Not to mention the food was great!!
Would definitely come back next time we're in town.
This business has not yet been claimed by the owner or a representative.

When we got here.
We were immediately taken care off.
Our rewards cards gave us some discounts and for the price, it was more than worth it.

Charge more with higher quality food and they will still come.
Folks are here for all you can eat.
Prime rib - very hard to screw this up and yet you guy did 2.
Soups - All is the link were so salty that I gave up after couple of sips.
Brisket - the best slot payout in was so dried out one would automatically assume it was the flat that was over cooked 4.
Salad bar - I realize that high traffic will generally require higher maintenance, but the messy patrons created a very unappealing "look".
Salad bar is suppose to have the look of "freshness".

The ride out was stellar.
The food was a disappointment.
It was a surprising let-down to both of us because there have chumash casino best slots so many positive reviews many of them recent!

The meats were either overcooked or partially raw.
Too bad my phone was out of battery or I could share some photos.
The other food was good, like pizza, glazed shrimp and chips.
I also called ahead for pricing.

Free parking in the parking structure, take the elevator to the third floor, up a flight on an escalator and you will fine "The Buffet.
You pay and pick you drinks and then are shown to your table.

If you have a gaming card, don't forget to use that for any comps or money taken off the bill.
best tv slots a bunch of parking available at the casino parking lots.

I have been to many buffets and even some so called amazing buffets in Vegas, and each time I have walked away disappointed.
However, maybe it was the cocktail I had earlier, maybe it was the fact that I had been on a diet for forever before coming here, honestly I don't know, but nor do I care, https://jackpot-promocode.site/best-slots-19/best-casino-slots-online-602.html I actually really liked this place.
I mean there were some hits and misses, but for the price?
I mean come on.
I'd come back for sure.
